• Non-Balikbayan boxes (e.g. U-Haul boxes, Home Depot boxes) are charged as odd-sized. We will ask for the dimensions of the box in inches. Please send the Length x Width x Height of the box to your agent to compute the rate.

  • Do not use the following to secure your box:

Duct tape

Masking tape

Painter's tape

Electrical tape

    1. We accept Jumbo-sized Balikbayan boxes from other companies.

    2. We care for our customers' box durability. We are strict with overpacked boxes or "buntis boxes" because overpacked boxes weaken the strength of the box that is designed to withstand heavy loads and heavy stacking processes.

    3. No weight limit. However, all sides have to be flat, from the top, bottom, and sides. Top and bottom flaps have to be closed end to end, no gap in between the center. Extra charges will be applied per inch if the box is overpacked. The box has to stay with the original designed dimension of 24"x17"x25".

    4. We recommend customers use Heavy Duty Clear Packaging tape. Another option is to glue the closing flap before taping; this will secure and strengthen the box.

    5. Customers have to complete the TO and FROM label on their box with the Receiver's active contact number placed at the front and side of the box.

    6. We give free replacement Jumbo box with each Balikbayan box sent by a customer. An empty box is non-refundable if returned.

    7. The rate is based from the sender's Texas zip code. The rate calculated includes door to door service anywhere in the Philippines.

    8. Agents should be contacted for updates, follow-ups, rates, promos and questions.

    9. We are transparent to our customers. Updates are posted on our social media account and online tracking tool.

    10. Our delivery crew in the Philippines is only UMAC. We do not have other subcontractors. This is to ensure that our boxes are handled properly and securely. That is why we are also called Freedom UMAC.

Full name and address should be posted clearly on either side of the box

Short flap of the box should be underneath.

This is what happens when duct tape is used.
